Since its establishment, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City has set the target to promote its international cooperation activities with an aim to receive advanced training technologies from developed countries, facilitate students to get access to a high-quality and affordable education system; create favorable opportunities for lecturers and research staff to exchange experiences and enhance their teaching competence.
In order to achieve the goals efficiently, the University has set up Center for International Cooperation (CIC) – HCMC in August 2004.
CIC’s activities focus on fields such as long-term training, short-term training; training based on the State Bank’s or governmental organizations’ programs; training and counseling for banks in their integration process; organizing cultural exchange activities between domestic lecturers and students and those overseas.
With the support and encouragement from the University, the State Bank of Vietnam, Ministry of Education together with the staff’s efforts and dedication, CIC-HCMC has successfully been managing the following programs:
